Events:

Former Alabama Governor John Patterson joined the author for a book signing in front of Jim Cannon's Phenix City Museum, housed in a CVS pharmacy in Phenix City, Alabama.

 

William Benton was in attendance. Mr. Benton was one of the jurors in the trial of the murderers of Albert Patterson. He later became the District Attorney of Russell County. He is currently retired and runs the Russell County Historical Commission.
